Keeping the conversation flowing for Farleigh Hospice

As Farleigh Hospice in Chelmsford reaches its 40th anniversary of serving their community, the team felt it was important to bring community voices into conversations about how they should shape their future.

The idea of a series of online conversation events was created, with members of the public, volunteers, community partners, services users and their families all invited to join in on sharing their ideas and priorities for hospice and end of life care.

Waddington Brown’s communication and engagement specialist, Nina Metson was asked to facilitate these sessions – asking the questions of the hospice panel, incorporating attendee contributions and creating multiple routes for feedback and involvement.

Nina said: “I am so pleased to be supporting Farleigh Hospice with this project, as hospice care has been an important service for my family in the past. Having an independent facilitator for these events means the hospice team can focus on talking with attendees and listening to their priorities. I’m looking forward to each of the conversation events this week as people share their experiences and ideas.”
