Recruitment is changing… Are you keeping up?

Resourcing, recruitment, talent acquisition – whatever you call it, finding great people to bring into your organisation is tough.  The employment market is almost unrecognisable from where it was 10 years ago.  The candidates are well and truly in the driving seat and it is difficult for recruiters and employers to keep up! Even as experienced and seasoned recruiters, we have to work really hard to keep one step ahead in these challenging, unprecedented times. The economy, politics, well-being, technology and demographics are all playing their part.

There has been a huge change over recent years for organisations to advertise and recruit direct.  Whilst we completely understand the motivation to reduce direct costs whilst promoting employer brand, the question to ask is, do the people handling the recruitment have the appropriate skills to recruit the right people into your organisation? If not, we might be able to help!

We have recently been running recruitment training sessions for our clients, supporting new and experienced recruiters and line managers to bring them up to speed with both modern recruitment practices and the current employment market.  Re-educating, changing mindsets and providing useful tools and skills to ensure you can become the employer of choice in your specialist area.

We take for granted what we are doing on a day to day, week by week basis and the knowledge and expertise that we have to share.  What we think of as simple tips and direction have proved to be almost revolutionary ideas for others.  Creating those lightbulb moments for some where suddenly they realise the importance of their roles and how they contribute to the bigger picture of resourcing.

If you think you or your team could do with some recruitment training or even a refresh on what you are currently doing then call us today to see how we can help.
